RedDirt Hire Conditions Policy

Thank you for choosing RedDirt for your hire needs. This Hire Conditions Policy outlines the terms and conditions for hiring equipment and trailers from RedDirt. By hiring from us, you agree to abide by the following conditions:

1. Hire Period

The minimum hire period is one day (24 hours), unless otherwise specified in the hire agreement.
Hire extensions must be requested at least 24 hours prior to the end of the hire period and are subject to availability and approval.

2. Hire Rates and Payment

Hire rates are calculated on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis as agreed upon at the time of hire.
All hire charges must be paid in full prior to collection or delivery of the equipment, unless otherwise arranged.
A security deposit may be required, refundable upon return of the equipment in good condition.

3. Collection and Delivery

Equipment may be collected from our Balcatta, WA location or delivered to an agreed address for an additional fee.
The hirer is responsible for checking the equipment upon receipt and reporting any issues or damage before use.

4. Use of Equipment

The hirer agrees to use the equipment solely for its intended purpose and in a responsible manner.
The equipment must be operated by qualified individuals, and the hirer is responsible for any necessary permits or licenses.
Modifications or alterations to the equipment are strictly prohibited.

5. Maintenance and Care

The hirer is responsible for maintaining the equipment in good condition during the hire period.
Any damage, loss, or theft of equipment during the hire period must be reported to RedDirt immediately.
The hirer will bear the costs of repairs or replacement due to negligence, misuse, or unauthorized modifications.

6. Return of Equipment

Equipment must be returned in clean, operational condition by the end of the hire period.
Late returns may incur additional charges unless prior arrangements have been made.
RedDirt reserves the right to inspect returned equipment and withhold a portion of the security deposit if additional cleaning or repairs are necessary.

7. Liability and Indemnity

RedDirt is not liable for any personal injury, property damage, or loss incurred by the hirer or third parties due to the use of hired equipment.
The hirer agrees to indemnify RedDirt against all claims, damages, or expenses arising from the use or misuse of hired equipment.

8. Insurance

The hirer is encouraged to arrange insurance coverage for hired equipment for the duration of the hire period.
RedDirt’s insurance does not cover equipment once it is in the hirer’s possession.

9. Termination of Hire Agreement

RedDirt reserves the right to terminate the hire agreement and repossess the equipment if the hirer fails to comply with the terms and conditions or if misuse is detected.
No refunds will be issued for early termination due to the hirer’s breach of agreement.
